Foods from an innovative project
The ‘suburban-grown’ tasty, fresh produce that growers have donated has come from an innovative idea. We would like to thank @incredibleediblewrecsam for the ‘home-grown’ tasty fresh produce that growers have kindly donated to the cafe.
A self-organising community gardening group called Incredible Edible Wrecsam, takes unloved patches of land in which they plant fruit and nut trees, perennial vegetables and herbs. These are for anyone and everyone to take and eat for free!
The group is part of the UK-wide IncredibleEdibleUK, whose motto is:
“If you eat, you’re in.”
Well, they live up to their name, ‘incredible’ and what they grow is certainly very, very edible!
